Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, responsible, and self-motivated Pediatric Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team full-time at our pediatric dental private practice in Murphy, TX. The RDA will support clinical procedures such as chairside assisting, patient and procedure preparation, taking x-rays, monitoring nitrous oxide, coronal polishing, placing sealants, keeping accurate patient records, and properly sterilizing instruments, while providing exceptional care to children and teens. Additional responsibilities include educating patients and families on proper oral hygiene practices, assisting in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and ensuring operational efficiency by organizing and preparing areas for treatment. Qualifications
- Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in the state of Texas
- Nitrous Monitoring Certification
- Completion of 8-hour Coronal Polishing course, or Coronal Polishing Certification
- Knowledge of Sterilization and infection control processes
- Strong communication skills with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and service-driven environment
- Commitment to providing ethical, compassionate, and high-quality care
- Prior experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
