Services on behalf of our client is seeking a RN Pediatric Cardiac Intensive CarePosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care for a 13-week night shift assignment in a Level I trauma facility. This role requires strong clinical experience in ICU cardiac care and acute care settings with the ability to float between units as needed. The RN will provide high-quality care to neonates through young adults with complex cardiac medical surgical and trauma conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver evidence-based nursing care in a high-acuity PCICU/PICU/Acute Care environment.Float as needed to PICU PCICU and Acute Care units based on facility needs.Care for pediatric patients (ages newborn to 21 years) with cardiac medical surgical and trauma diagnoses.Work in a 128-bed facility providing care in units with:ICU Ratios: 1:11:2Acute Care Ratios: 1:4Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe and efficient patient care.Document using EPIC electronic health records.Participate in required weekend and holiday rotations.Schedule & ExpectationsShift: 12H Nights 7 PM7 AMUnit: 12B Acute Care & floating to ICU/PCICUOrientation: Every MondayWeekends: Required 2 out of every 3 weekends in each 6-week schedule (Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun)Holidays: Must work 2 winter and 2 summer holidaysCall: None requiredFloating: Required between PICU PCICU and Acute CareRequired Experience & QualificationsMinimum 2 years of recent experience in a Level I trauma facility.Prior travel nursing experience required.Recent experience (within last 2 years) in:ICUCardiac careAcute careComfortable floating to multiple pediatric units.Certifications:BLS (American Heart Association)PALSEMR Experience: Must have EPIC proficiency.Patient PopulationPediatric cardiacMedicalSurgicalTraumaAges: Neonate to 21 years oldUnit 12B: Acute care unit for medical and surgical overflowWHY RSMCRSMC is a specialized healthcare staffing partner not a high-volume agency.
