General Pediatrician – Outpatient | Flexible Schedule | Partner Track

Outpatient Pediatrics | Birth–21 | Work-Life Balance Focused

Advocare Fairmount Pediatrics is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Pediatrician to join our established, community-centered outpatient practice. We offer flexible scheduling, predictable call, and a supportive culture where physicians have real autonomy and input.


Opportunity Highlights

  • Outpatient pediatrics only

  • 20–32 patient-facing hours per week (physician preference)

  • Flexible, physician-controlled scheduling

  • Practice across three locations for variety and community impact

  • Partner-track opportunity available


Schedule & Call

  • One 3–4 hour Saturday per month

  • 1 weeknight call every 8 weeks

  • 1 weekend call every 8 weeks

  • 1 major holiday per year

  • Overnight call and daytime portal and faxes supported by  nurse triage

  • Patient messaging: ~15 minutes nightly + brief messages between visits


Visit Structure & Workflow

  • Sick visits: 15 or 30 minutes

  • Well visits: 20 or 30 minutes

  • Open-access scheduling model

  • Online patient booking

  • Schedules known well in advance and easily adjustable

  • Strong emphasis on efficiency—we run on time

Candidate Qualifications

  • MD or DO

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Pediatrics

  • Eligible for Pennsylvania medical licensure

  • Commitment to patient-centered, community-based care
