Coverage Needed Start Date: February 1, 2026 End Date: Ongoing Schedule: 6-7 shifts per month Coverage Type: 24-hour Call coverage (7a-7a) Clinical Details Patient Population: Pediatric Procedures: Details to be discussed during interview Case Mix: General Pediatric Inpatient Average Deliveries: Approximately 30 per month Responsibilities: Well newborn exam on delivery, follow-up until discharge, discharge exam, attendance at delivery if requested for neonatal concerns, transfer to higher level of care if needed Support Staff: OB department staff includes 3 scheduled nurses per shift, all NRP certified, an OB Tech for discharge coordination, and 3 Board Certified Lactation Consultants Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible Active California Medical License CA DEA or transferable DEA PALS, NRP In-patient hospital affiliation within the last two years Patient activity log will be required
