Be part of a team that sets the standard for legal representation in the insurance industryWhat You'll Do:Manage moderately complex civil litigation for American Family and our insureds, following established guidelines and the highest ethical standardsAnalyze cases, strategize for optimal outcomes, and pursue settlements when appropriateLead discovery, draft pleadings and briefs, and conduct research to support your litigation strategyRepresent clients in trials, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferencesAdvocate for our clients in state and federal courts, administrative tribunals, and regulatory hearingsStay ahead of legal trends and ensure our policies remain strong and enforceableWho We're Looking For:Experienced attorneys passionate about making a difference for clients and communitiesProfessionals eager to grow, learn, and contribute to a dynamic legal teamIndividuals committed to excellence, integrity, and collaborationWhat we need from you:Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or serviceDemonstrated experience preparing civil pleadings, motions and discovery and deposing witnessesDemonstrated litigation experienceSolid knowledge and understanding of rules of Professional Responsibility for the jurisdiction in which they practiceSolid knowledge and understanding of tort, contract, and insurance lawAdmitted to the California State BarJuris DoctorAdditional InformationOffer to selected candidate will be made contingent on the results of applicable background checksOffer to selected candidate is contingent on signing a non-disclosure agreement for proprietary information, trade secrets, and inventionsSponsorship will not be considered for this position unless specified in the postingWe provide benefits that support your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing.
