These services are delivered in community-based settings, within communities disproportionately impacted by problem gambling in Massachusetts. This initiative is funded by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Office of Problem Gambling Services.Duties and Responsibilities:Participation in all training activities and eventsAttend weekly supervisionAttend monthly statewide meetingsWork in collaboration with other peer ambassadors' locationsDevelop relationships with other community organizationsConduct outreach in the communityPlan and facilitate individual education sessions in the communityPlan and co-facilitate group education sessions in the communityReport education activities back to the team and supervisorMinimum Qualifications:Valid driver’s license preferred or in processPossess or willingness to learn basic computer skillsHS or General Education Diploma PreferredBilingual Preferred (Spanish/English)The Gándara Mental Health Center provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
