Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS)Position: Full-TimeLocation: Rockview- Wyoming County Southern Highlands is seeking compassionate, dedicated individuals to join our team as Peer Recovery Support Specialists (PRSS). In this vital role, you will use your own lived experience in recovery to support, mentor, and empower others on their personal recovery journeys.PRSS services go beyond traditional clinical care focusing on real-life support in home and community environments, building meaningful connections, and helping individuals stay engaged with their person-centered recovery plans.✨ What You’ll Do:Provide peer-to-peer support to individuals in recovery from substance use disordersServe as a role model of successful, sustained recoveryHelp clients navigate resources, build coping skills, and stay connected to treatmentFoster hope, empowerment, and community connectionCollaborate with care teams to support each client’s recovery goals???? Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentLived experience of recovery from substance use disordersMinimum of two (2) years of sobriety requiredPreferred: At least one (1) year of experience working with individuals facing substance use challengesMust hold a state or nationally recognized peer certification or complete required training per West Virginia Department of Health and Human Services (DoHS)If you have a passion for helping others rise, rebuild, and reclaim their lives, and you’re ready to make a lasting impact, we invite you to apply.
