You will be instrumental in future-proofing our operations through the design development and influence on operating models and continuous change. As a trusted advisor you will develop and implement workforce strategies that align with business and functional strategy to meet business objectives. Your expertise will be crucial in understanding workforce requirements to design organizations at the operating model and organization design level to achieve strategic intent.Key ResponsibilitiesOur approach to organizational design helps guide our clients from assessment through to implementation. Youll lead large-scale organizational design projects and advise stakeholders while building relationships with colleagues and clients. Youll also work collaboratively to deliver innovative and insightful solutions for a range of challenges from how to best structure teams to deliver on the organizations strategy to how the organizations structure can allow for more agile ways of working.Skills and Attributes for successSome key capabilities you should be prepared to bring to client facing and internal initiative teams include:Youll be expected to support and lead certain engagement activities from planning through to implementation including identifying and helping manage any potential issues and risks during a client assignmentUnderstanding of using organizational design strategic workforce planningas integral components of transformational initiatives focused on accelerating business performanceUnderstanding of human resources opportunities challenges and issues in at least one of the sectors we serve (e.g. Oil & Gas Health Telecommunications Power & Utilities Insurance Media & Entertainment)Demonstrate technical competence in our key capabilities and take a practical/business driven approach to solving complex client challengesContribute to the growth of the People Consulting practice by identifying additional engagement opportunities and building lasting relationships with clientsInfluence and persuade clients and stakeholders to gain support for any major change initiatives and/or decisionsEncourage and facilitate collaboration amongst team members and promote an inclusive working environmentContribute to business development and client pursuit activities by preparing proposals and delivering presentations for potential clientsAdvance the People Consulting practice by supporting in the development of thought leadership and EY methodologiesTo qualify for the role you must have:Relevant experience through one of the following: Professional services role with a global management consultancy firm or niche consultancy internal human resources or organizational design role in industry or related line role in industry in which you gained exposure to a large-scale project(s)Between 4-6 years of prior experience inOperating Model DevelopmentOrganizational Structure and Design Strategic Workforce Planning Capability Mapping Organizational Assessment and Organizational Governancewith success in current job applying one or more of these capabilitiesExperience of delivering org. design projects inone or more of the following functional domains supply chain IT finance customer sales & marketing.Working knowledge of digital assets in the organization design space and use of analytical toolsHave a primary degree and relevant post-graduate qualificationWillingness to travel as needed and comfortable working in a hybrid environment with an average of three (3) days per week at a client site or within an EY office.What we look forWe are looking for top performers who demonstrate the ability to think critically communicate with impact and drive outcomes. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $100600 to $165900. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $120800 to $188600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education experience knowledge skills and addition our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage pension and 401(k) plans and a wide range of paid time off options.Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement project or year.Under our flexible vacation policy youll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
