For additional information please contact the Emerging Talent Program at .Title: Performance Science InternDepartment: Performance ScienceStatus: Intern(3-month program)Location: Los Angeles CA or Glendale AZPay Rate: $18.00/hour housing stipend*Interviews for our 2026 Internship positions will take place in March 2026The Performance Science team uses science and engineering principles to better understand on-field performance through biomechanical data analysis and visualization.Duties/Responsibilities:Operating processing and analyzing biomechanics and other tracking data from a laboratory and/or on-field settingSupporting research projects focused on player performance and biomechanicsWorking with data visualization tools; interpreting reports and communicating results to front office coaching staff player development scouting and medical/performance staff as well as playersOther duties as assignedBasic Requirements/Qualifications:Preference for an academic background in a STEM field (mechanical engineering biomechanics physics mathematics etc.)Some computer programming experience (Python command line tools)Familiarity with SQL / database queryingStrong communication (written & verbal) skillsDesire to work in a collaborative team environment(Arizona-based) Experience working in a biomechanics lab environment preferred and Spanish speaking a plusMust be a rising sophomore junior or senior pursuing a bachelors degree OR are currently enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institutionMust be available to live and work in Los Angeles or your assigned office location throughout the duration of your 3-month program during the summer monthsUnrestricted authorization to work in the United StatesPassionate about working for a professional sports teamProactive and out of the box thinkingThis program consists of 80% in-department work 15% cross-functional project experience and 5% additional programming. Interns collaborate on real business projects in small cross-functional groups while gaining hands-on department-specific experience under a dedicated manager. The program is 100% in-person/onsite.
