This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven engineer who thrives on solving complex challenges and delivering impactful high-quality solutions.Responsibilities:Conduct high level technical analysis of ideas to determine feasibility and approach.Provide accurate work estimates a critical component for building project timelines and establishing delivery commitments.Maintenance and migration of existing code basis to newer platforms.Execute test cases verifying results to expected outcomes prior to release of code for business or client acceptance testing.Provide input into integration implementation and deployment content and strategies maintaining operating manuals and system documentation as necessary.Special projects tasks or assignments as required to ensure the success of the Department.Requirements:University degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant work experience.Solid knowledge of programming testing & deployment tools techniques and languages applicable to the products or systems with which they work.Strong knowledge of application analysis and design methodologies including database concepts.Practical experience with: Perl Linux Shell scripting CWorking knowledge of Precisely Products (StreamWeaver Mailstream Plus Verimove Finalist) Python and knowledgebase on AFP and PDF print formatting would be a plusWorking knowledge of the software development project life cycle and AGILE methodology.This position is on-site in our Coppell TX officeCompensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $65000 - $80000.
