Personal Injury Paralegal at Heit Law LLC

Our legal team needs a diligent, organized, and experienced personal injury paralegal. You will create case files, answer phones, create and conduct new client intakes, and build case files. We need someone with experience ordering, reviewing, and summarizing medical records and bills. You will also work closely with the attorney to handle client matters, review and respond to discovery requests, and handle client communications. If you are ready to advance your paralegal career, please apply today!Compensation:$18 - $25 hourlyResponsibilities:Request, interpret, and summarize medical records to come up with a factual answer to discovery requestsAid lawyers in preparing for trial by arranging exhibits, witnesses, legal materials, client meetings, and motionsProduce legal documents, letters, and pleadings such as complaints, interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits under the supervision of a lawyerMaintain our case filing systems and other administrative activitiesNegotiate liens, medical bills, and settlements with providers or insurance companiesRequest, review, and compile medical recordsHandle new case intakesBuild, update, and maintain client filesPrepare, review, and send medical records to insurance companiesCompile, prepare, review, and send discovery materials to defense attorneysCommunicate with clients via telephone and emailHandle all incoming phone callsAbility to handle office requirements when the attorney is out of the office in court or client meetingsQualifications:Talented verbal communicator and writerCandidates should possess high-level organizational skills, and time-management skills3-5 years of legal service experience under an attorney or lawyer required, preferably in a personal injury law firmAbility to speak Spanish is preferredAbout CompanyHeit Law, LLC is a personal injury law firm representing clients in Ohio and Tennessee.#WHLAW2Compensation details: 18-25 Hourly WagePI0672fd971727-26276-39058959
