As a Parisi Speed School Performance Coach, you will perform fitness assessments, develop training plans, and provide education on how to use gym equipment safely for small groups (max of 6 per class). Your primary goal is to teach athletes how to move more efficiently and how to run faster, cut quicker, jump higher, get more explosive power, as well as how to strength train properly. We will teach you the methodology and everything you need to become a successful Performance Coach. The ideal candidate is a great teacher with attention to detail and a passion for fitness.ResponsibilitiesPerform fitness assessments to understand each clients current fitness and athletic levelBe very specific in correcting form/technique throughout workout plans and training routines and revise them periodicallyDemonstrate proper techniques for common strength training workouts for younger athletesEnsure that all gym safety standards and procedures are followedQualificationsBachelor's in Exercise Science is preferredCurrent personal trainer or fitness instructor certificationKnowledge of kinesiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is a mustFirst aid and CPR-certifiedPositive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management skills
