Open and Close Dates: Dec 03, 2025 - Dec 17, 2025 Marketing Statement: Summary: This position is located in the Office of Personnel Security and Suitability (PSS), Office of the Senior Coordinator for Security Infrastructure (SI), Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS), Department of State(DoS). In this position you will be responsible for regularly reviewing a cleared individual’s background to ensure they continue to meet security clearance requirements and should continue to hold positions of trust. Major Duties: Who May Apply: Job Status: Duration Appointment: Temporary - This is a non-status, non-permanent Personal Service Contract (PSC) position. PSCs do not acquire a competitive or excepted service status from this position. Contract is 1 year; renewable up to 4years. Requirements: Qualifications: Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement. Applicants applying for the GS-12 must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying statutes and authorities related to the personnel security fi eld to administer personnel security programs. Experience implementing new or modified personnel security policies, standards, and criteria. Experience identifying, analyzing, and recommending solutions to complex, sensitive and controversial issues related to all personnel security programs.
