This position spends the most time directly in contact with our furry friends. Someone in this position not only must love dogs, they must also be willing to "get down and dirty". Cleaning accommodations, giving dog baths and managing doggie daycare are all part of the daily routine. You must excel at communication and observation and possess a keen eye for detail.Essential Job Functions:Responsible for the health and well-being of dogs in Daycare and BoardingResponsible for the sanitation of all accommodations and outdoor areas, bathing, and monitoring large and small daycarePerform personal playtimes with private play dogsBring dogs from daycare or boarding to customers, when neededJob Requirements:Ability to lift 50lbsHas the ability work on their feet for 8 hours or moreSchedule flexibility; availability for some weekend & holiday shiftsOpening shift: Monday - Friday, 6am - 1:15pm; Saturday - Sunday, 7am - 1:15pmClosing shift: 1pm - 7:30pmQUALIFICATIONS:Education and Experience:High School diploma or equivalentPrevious experience is preferred but not requiredPersonal Characteristics:Must demonstrate a love for dogsMust be able to communicate with all types of people, remain calm, mediate and problem solveMust be of high moral and ethical characterAbility to multitask and reprioritizeA Can-Do - It is my job attitudeOutgoing, positive, enthusiastic personalityTeam player with the ability to also operate independentlyAble to use down time effectivelyWell-organized and efficientThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the employee assigned this classification.
