Adjunct faculty members are employed on a course-by-course basis depending on the curricular offerings and course enrollments in any given semester.RESPONSIBILITIESEssential Functions:Teach courses on assigned days and timesPlan lessons using a prewritten curriculum that addresses particular learning outcomes and the needs of studentsUse technology to enhance instruction and assessmentAdminister and grade assessments to measure student learningGather and submit a sample of course assignments as requested for documentation for SNU General Education CommitteeMaintain an accurate up-to-date grade bookMaintain an accurate up-to-date attendance recordSet up and make proper use of a Learning Management System site for the assigned course(s)Submit final grade as requiredQualifications Required Qualifications:Southern Nazarene University is an expression of the Church of the Nazarene.
