Daily Responsibilities For Pharmacist
- Accept and dispense prescription medications
- Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
- Ensure that the supply of medicines is within the law
- Ensure that medicines prescribed to patients are suitable
- Accurately maintain confidential records of all patients
- Ensure proper management of patient records and pharmacy files
- Advise patients about medicines, including how to take them, what reactions may occur, and answer patients' questions
- Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications for storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions
- Provide services to patients, such as smoking cessation, blood pressure measurement, and cholesterol management
- Monday through Friday - Varying shifts:
- 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
- 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- 11:00 AM - 8:30 PM
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree required
- Licensed by the state pharmacy board
