Role Description

This is a part-time, with no nights or weekends, on-site role for a licensed Pharmacist located in Orangeburg, SC. The Pharmacist will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications, providing patient consultations, reviewing prescriptions to ensure accuracy, and managing inventory. Additional duties include maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, collaborating with healthcare providers, and educating patients regarding medication usage and potential side effects. The role requires a consistent commitment to patient safety, satisfaction, and medication management.

Qualifications

• Experience with 340B Pharmacy highly preferred.
• Active pharmacist licensure in the state of South Carolina
• Proficiency in medication dispensing, prescription review, and patient counseling
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and pharmacy operations
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
• Ability to collaborate with healthcare providers and a commitment to patient care
• Attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory and processing prescriptions
• Flexibility to adapt to a part-time schedule, based on operational needs
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems, specifically PioneerRx
• Highly motivated, organized, and able to work both independently and in a team
