Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Belle Fourche, SD. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescribed medications, counseling patients, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting prescriptions, managing inventory, coordinating with healthcare providers, and offering guidance on the proper usage and potential side effects of medications. The Pharmacist also plays a key role in monitoring patient health and contributing to overall care plans.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, medication dispensing, and drug interactions
• Experience in patient counseling, providing medication advice, and answering questions about prescriptions
• Understanding of legal compliance and ability to adhere to state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Proficient in inventory management, pharmaceutical tools, and systems
• Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining accuracy in all tasks
• PharmD degree and valid licensure as a Pharmacist in the state of South Dakota
• Experience in community pharmacy or retail settings is a plus
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on advancements in the pharmaceutical field
