Pharmacist at Pride Health

Job Title: Pharmacist

Location: Austin, TX 78717

Duration: 3 Months with strong possibility of extension

Shift: Day/ 10*4

Pay Range: $78/hr - $80/hr

Required:

Bachelor’s degree or Ph.D in Pharmacy required

RPH certification from the state of Texas required

2+ years hospital staff pharmacist experience required (Pediatric experience preferred)

40 hours of training in compounding sterile products accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education or the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists required

Duties:

• Ensures the appropriateness of all medication doses in reference to the patient’s diagnosis, weight/body surface area,

allergies, and drug interactions as evidenced by lack of medication incidents.

• Accurately enters medication orders in computer as evidenced by lack of medication incidents.
• Ensures the medications the patient receives are correct as documented by lack of dispensing errors file.

Skills:
