Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy the manager will work in collaboration to guide and direct pharmacy services in a growing facility.The Pharmacy Operations Manager serves as a leader of pharmacy initiatives and contributes to the provision of high-quality care at Dignity Health. Provides direction and supportive resources regarding the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department to reduce harm to patients and improve patient outcomes. Implements and administers fiscal operations including accounting planning budgets authorizing expenditures establishing rates for services and coordinating financial reporting.Provides direction and supportive resources regarding day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department to reduce harm to patients and improve patient outcomes. Assures departmental competency and compliance to all regulatory accreditation and hospital standards of care.Implements a service culture based on the principles of continuous quality Improvement. Creates structures and processes that assure cost effective and safe utilization of drug supplies and pharmacy staff time.Implements and administers fiscal operations including accounting planning budgets authorizing expenditures and reviewing and responding to financial report data.Provides expert pharmaceutical care assistance to colleagues regarding integrated health care delivery network.Dignity Health now offers an Education Benefit program for benefit-eligible employees after 180 days. Full-time employees can receive up to $18000 over five years while part-time employees can receive up to $9000.#PhrMgrJob RequirementsEducation and Experience:Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy is required. Advanced or Masters degree preferred (e.g. Pharm.D.) .Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Pharmacist in an acute care setting. Minimum of two (2) years of pharmacy leadership experience.Licensure:Registered Pharmacist license.
