This seasoned leader will drive operational excellence ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and lead the implementation of new programs and process improvements to support business growth and patient care excellence.ResponsibilitiesPractice within the scope of your license and maintain an active unrestricted Florida Pharmacist license.Oversee all daily pharmacy operations including prescription intake verification dispensing inventory management and loss prevention controls.Ensure compliance with all applicable federal state and accreditation standards including Board of Pharmacy regulations.Develop implement and optimize workflows to support accuracy efficiency and patient safety.Lead train mentor and evaluate pharmacy staff; identify training gaps and implement performance improvement strategies.Provide ongoing coaching and administer corrective action when necessary in alignment with company policies.Implement and operationalize new clinical operational and payer-driven programs.Serve as an escalation point for patient concerns and ensure timely and professional resolution.Maintain open and transparent communication with staff through regular meetings and written communication.Oversee all aspects of prescription processing including handling storage fulfillment shipping and documentation.Conduct Quality Assurance audits oversee corrective action plans and ensure continuous compliance improvement.Partner cross-functionally with Operations Compliance and Leadership to drive performance quality and growth initiatives.QualificationsBachelors degree in pharmacy or PharmD required.Active unrestricted Florida Pharmacist license required.Minimum of 57 years of progressive pharmacist experience required.Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy leadership or management experience required.Experience in specialty mail-order retail or high-volume pharmacy environments required.Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws payer requirements and operational best practices.340B program experience preferred.Demonstrated ability to lead teams manage change and drive operational performance.Required Experience:Manager Key Skills IT Experience,LTC Pharmacy,Hospital Experience,Pharmacy Software,Infusion Experience,Management Experience,Pharmacy Residency,Training & Development,Pharmacy Technician Experience,Supervising Experience,Clinical Pharmacy Experience,Compounding Medications Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
