Accredo Specialty Pharmacy is looking for high-energy, positive individuals to join our pharmacy technician team. As a Pharmacy Technician you will be tasked with ensuring prescriptions are processed and shipped appropriately so they can arrive in the hands of the 100 million patients whose health depends on their delivery. This role is Worksite dependent and can only be performed onsite.
Shift available:
Onsite, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
How you’ll make a difference:
Be a superstar in the eyes of your team and the patient. Select and retrieve appropriate quantities of medication and prepare the labels that correspond.
Use your expert problem solving skills to help our patients be at their best every day. Work with a skilled team to ensure patients get the medication they need in a timely manner.
Work together to achieve success. Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure that medications are adequately filled and support the pharmacy's quality goals.
Task oriented to create, innovate and inspire. Delivers straight forward administrative and operational support services in the Pharmacy.
Think strategically by staying connected. Works to clearly define procedures under close supervision.
Being a Team Player. Besides verifying, printing prescriptions and doing routine duties, techs pick up the medication and help on the packing line.

What you’ll do:
Process requests for new and refill prescriptions
Select and retrieve appropriate medications
Verify quantities and prepare labels for bottles
Send orders to pharmacy staff for completion and verification of prescriptions
Select appropriate packing materials and prepare packages for shipment
Enclose client specified materials to orders
Affix shipping labels on packages and sort by carrier
Clean equipment and replenish workstation supplies like pill bottles, caps, boxes, and paper
Assist pharmacist with deliveries, inventory control, equipment cleaning, and inbound phone calls
What you should have:
High School Diploma / GED required
Nevada Pharmacy Technician license required
1+ years of relevant work experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferred.
Basic math skills and General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, use of the internet and email
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Fulfillment experience a plus
Physical Requirements:
Sit and/or stand for lengthy periods.
Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. frequently
Perform repetitive motion with fingers, hands, and arms.
Work may be in confined areas close to machinery.
Work may be performed in an environment with varying levels of noise.
