If you have been working in pharmacy and feel like there must be more out there then this opportunity is for you.This position is located at:This position is located at Spectrum Health Services 5201 Haverford Ave Philadelphia PA 19139Pharmacy Hours:Monday-Thursday: 9:00 am 6:00 pmFriday: 9:00 am 5:00 pmSaturday-Sunday: Closed(subject to change to accommodate clinic growth)ResponsibilitiesRetrieves and prepares the medication for pharmacist review and verification; organizes medications for pharmacist to dispense; profiles prescriptions; prepares labels and calculates quantities.Ensures medication availability.Maintains pharmacy inventory; replenishes and maintains inventory as needed.Communicates with patients prescribers and other staff to solve problems or answer questions.Works with pharmacy team to ensure best practices are utilized for 340B compliance.Maintains professional working relationships at all times with pharmacy team physicians nurses and other care team members.Understands that the requirements of working in a pharmacy are varied and may change as demands on the department change.Be available to the customer/patients at all times.Maintains friendly and helpful attitude at all times when dealing with customers.Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures rules and regulations.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.QualificationsHigh school degree or equivalent preferredMinimum 1 year retail pharmacy technician experience preferredPTCB Pharmacy Technician certification preferredCurrently registered in the state of Pennsylvania as a pharmacy technician or within 90 days of hire required340B program experience preferredMay require vendor credentialingWhat is expected of you and others at this levelApplies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasksReadily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned areaMaintains appropriate licenses training and certificationsWorks on routine assignments that require some problem resolutionWorks within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methodsAdheres to all quality guidelinesWorks under moderate degree of supervisionWork typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisorRefers complex unusual problems to supervisorAnticipated hourly range:$21.20 per hour - $27.18 per hourBonus eligible:NoBenefits:Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.Medical dental and vision coveragePaid time off planHealth savings account (HSA)401k savings planAccess to wages before pay day with myFlexPayFlexible spending accounts (FSAs)Short- and long-term disability coverageWork-Life resourcesPaid parental leaveHealthy lifestyle programsApplication window anticipated to close:01/01/2026 *if interested in opportunity please submit application as soon as possible.The hourly range listed is an estimate.
