Job Summary: The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting venous and capillary blood specimens from patients in a safe and accurate manner according to established lab policies and practices. Demonstrates H3W behaviors with a focus on exceptional patient experience and quality service and outcomes. The Phlebotomist is required to comply with all OSHA and regulatory requirements including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment [PPE].
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent. Or, other experience and training that will support minimum on-the-job training to perform the above duties
- Keyboarding/data entry experience
- Knowledge of venipuncture techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Good keyboarding skills with ability to learn various laboratory application and HHC computer systems
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to handle different patient population including difficult patients. Strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills

Schedule: Part-time (2 - 39 hours)
Shift Details: 24 HOUR SECOND SHIFT POSITION. 2:00PM TO 10:30PM, THREE DAYS PER WEEK. ROTATING WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.
