Phlebotomist Opportunity

Location: Overland Park, KS

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Employment Type: Contingent

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00am4:30pm

As a Phlebotomist, you play a key role in delivering a positive patient experience while ensuring accurate and timely specimen collection. Your professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to quality directly support reliable diagnostic outcomes and patient trust.

What You'll Do

  • Perform venipuncture and capillary collections, including pediatric and geriatric patients
  • Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established practices and procedures
  • Verify patient demographic information and specimen labeling, obtaining patient confirmation post-collection
  • Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and confidentiality of patient information
  • Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment

What We're Looking For

  • A current, up-to-date resume
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 13 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • Two years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
  • Strong customer service, communication, and data entry skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision in a fast-paced setting
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements
