Phlebotomist Opportunity

Location: Pontiac, MI Pay Rate: $25/hr Employment Type: Contingent (potential pathway for hire) Schedule: MondayFriday, 9:00 AM 5:30 PM (30-minute lunch, 12:30 PM 1:00 PM)

What You'll Do
- Perform venipunctures and capillary collections for patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations
- Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
- Verify patient identification and obtain signatures to ensure proper specimen handling
- Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with established procedures
- Provide excellent customer service while creating a safe, professional, and welcoming environment
- Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties
- Adapt to various work settings, including patient service centers and physician offices as needed
What We're Looking For
- A current, up-to-date resume
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 13 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver error-free work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus
- Flexibility to travel between locations and adapt to changing schedules as needed
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting
- Ability to meet compliance requirements
