Float Phlebotomist Opportunity

Location: Florissant, MO Pay Rate: $28/hr Employment Type: Contingent (with Potential for Hire) Schedule: 6:00am6:00pm

What You'll Do

  • Perform venipuncture and capillary collections, including pediatric and geriatric patients
  • Travel between multiple sites to provide coverage and support staffing needs
  • Prepare, label, and process specimens following established procedures
  • Verify patient demographics and ensure accurate labeling with patient confirmation
  • Maintain detailed documentation and required records
  • Deliver clear, compassionate communication while building patient trust
  • Adhere to all safety, confidentiality, and quality standards

What We're Looking For

  • A current, up-to-date resume
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proven adaptability and flexibility to support multiple locations
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record
  • Basic computer and data entry proficiency
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements
