Miller Elementary School. Operating under the direction of the Mental Health Professional, you have the rewarding opportunity to provide children and families with the guidance and structure needed to succeed in life.What Do I Need?Education and ExperienceBachelor's Degree with major course work in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Anthropology, Political Science, History, Criminal Justice, Theology, Nursing, Counseling, Education, or a related field.ORAssociate's degree or at least 12 semester credit hours in Sociology, Social Welfare, Psychology, Gerontology, or other social science with 1 year of experience in a behavioral/mental health field.ORHigh School Diploma or Equivalent with 2 years of experience in a behavioral/mental health field.Other RequirementsYou will maintain a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.You will maintain all required clearances.You will have the ability to use typical office equipment.You will have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.What Will I Do?You will observe your clients, implement individualized treatment interventions, and administer appropriate case management when necessaryYou will provide group and family sessions in the school, home, and community under the direction of the Mental Health Professional (MHP) and participate as needed in treatment team meetings that offer support and input from all areas of the client's life.You will coordinate care with other service systems and assist with the delivery of in-service training and liaison activities with school staffYou will record client data, track progress on treatment objectives, and complete required chart documentation and quarterly chart audits as assigned by your supervisor.You will meet with the MHP for staff meetings and individual and group supervision as required.You will maintain a high level of professional confidentiality standards and uphold all regulatory licensing requirements of the position.You will attend training courses per program requirements.Hours of WorkSchool YearMonday-Friday 8am-3:30pmSummer BreakMonday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pmWhat Will I Get?$17.00/hrBenefits401k + 2% match (additional annual discretionary match if you work 1,000 hours or more!)Virtual Care Clinic & Prescription Services for ALL employees and dependents (up to 7 people)!
