Job DescriptionLicensure/Certification Qualifications:Pediatric Hospitalist (.6FTE)Duluth, MN  PRACTICE SPECIFICS Essentia Health Duluth Children's Hospital, a member of Essential Health, is the region's largest provider of pediatric care. With many outpatient Pediatricians, pediatric subspecialists on staff and the region's only PICU and NICU, we are able to care for the area's most critically ill infants and children.Level II Pediatric Trauma Center20-bed Level III NICU, with 6 Neonatologists, 5 APPs, and 1 Neo Hospitalist that cover deliveries in house14 bed General Pediatric Unit, 5 bed PICU5 of the NICU and Pediatric rooms are swing rooms that can accommodate either NICU, Pediatric, or OB patients13 bed Birthplace with 3 additional Midwifery suitesJoin 5 Pediatric Hospitalists and 4 Pediatric Intensivists in a shared pediatric hospitalist practiceDay/Night shifts and/or 24-hour shifts with equal weekendsNight shifts are in-house if needed1700 births/year at labor and delivery with NICU delivery coverageGeneral birthplace rounding on newbornsModerate sedations2 hospitals located on campus:Essentia Health St. Mary's Medical Center – 344-bed tertiary hospitalEssentia Health Duluth Miller Dwan - 165-bed specialized care facilityDepartment educational focus with medical students and family medicine residents REQUIREMENTSBC/BE PediatricsExperience in full-spectrum hospital pediatrics COMPENSATION $145,692 (.6FTE) Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.  Contact:Carri Prudhomme, Senior Physician & Advanced Practice Recruiter218-786-3907 • (fax) 218-722-9952Email: [email protected]  Employee Benefits at Essentia Health:At Essentia Health, we're committed to supporting your well-being, growth, and work-life balance.
