Specialty support includes Neurosurgery, Neurology, Trauma/Critical Care, Medical and Surgical Orthopedics, Interventional Radiology, Interventional Pain, Pulmonology, Cardiology, Nephrology

DUTIES

Director collaborates with the entire clinical team to provide medical direction in conformance with the facility's policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and The Joint Commission.

Internal Medicine & Midlevel support serves as patients' primary physician & performs H&P's.

• incoming Director will have a clinical focus on general physical medicine and rehabilitation

• Assessment and management of patients with long term functional limitations; development of a plan of care in consultation with other specialists
• The ideal candidate must be proficient managing medically complex patients and comfortable taking care of a variety of rehab-related diagnoses on the unit.
• Perform medical procedures to treat pain and improve physical functioning
• Lead a team of medical professionals, which may include physical therapists as well as occupational therapists, with the goal of optimizing patient care
• Monitor ongoing progress and health of patients and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Provide tools and guidance that allow that patient to adapt and improve overall health physical functioning
• Counsel patients as well as their families

Additional procedural opportunities may include botulinum toxin injections, baclofen pump management and EMG's.Outpatient Clinic Available for EMG's and Botox

36 Hours per Week is Full Time - Round In the Morning & Document from Home
