Physical Education Teacher, High School (LTS) at Duxbury Public Schools

Duxbury High School is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of Physical Education Teacher LTS) starting immediately until February 1 2026. The end of the assignment is subject to change. The successful candidate will teach 9th and 10th grade Physical Education and Health as well as 11th and 12th grade Physical Education.Requirements:- Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited college or university- Classroom management skills that support students social-emotional learning- Ability to partner with families to meet the needs of all learners- Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners- Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks - Physical Education for grades 9-12.- Strong organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively- Citizenship residency or work visa requiredPreferred Qualifications:-Current certification from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Physical Education (5-12).Duxbury High Schoolprovides a dynamic education that prepares students to meet both individually and collaboratively the challenges and opportunities of a global society.
