This position will lend itself to real world job training where the student can learn basic maintenance and grounds procedures and gain valuable knowledge that will give them an advantage in their job search post-degree.This position reports to: Plant Director, Physical Plant.Responsibilities Illustrative Examples of Work: Assists the Grounds Teams with grounds tasks. Assists the Maintenance Teams with building maintenance tasks. Assists the department in campus setups. Monitors campus areas for contractor work. Moderate-to-light physical laborRequired Qualifications Required Qualifications: Ability to maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students, visitors and guests, and to efficiently convey information. Ability to work independently, with attention to detail. This position WILL require a satisfactory MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) as a condition of employment.
