Job Title: Physical Therapist Acute Care Hospital Location: Providence RI 02908 Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks Schedule: Day Shift 5x8 (08:00 AM 05:00 PM) Pay: $45$55/hrJob Summary:Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Physical Therapist Acute Care Hospitalfor an exciting job in Providence RI.Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive patient assessments evaluations and reassessments in an acute care setting.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients.Provide gait training therapeutic exercises mobility training transfer training and functional activity guidance.Manage patients with a variety of diagnoses including orthopaedic post-operative (hip knee spine shoulder cervical) ICU ED medical and surgical conditions.Utilize assistive devices and equipment including gait belts walkers sit-to-stand lifts sliding boards and collars.Contribute to discharge planning and maintain accurate documentation of patient progress.Float between hospital units as needed; no permanent floor assignment.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nurses physicians and PTAs.Participate in weekend rotations and maintain schedule flexibility.Adhere to hospital safety infection control and compliance policies.Qualifications:Active Rhode Island Physical Therapist License (required).Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience including acute care experience.Strong skills in patient assessment gait training orthopaedic and post-operative rehabilitation and safe patient handling.Experience working with adult and geriatric populations.Willingness to float between units and participate in weekend rotations.For more details contact at or Call / Text at .About Navitas Healthcare LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
