Physical Therapist – Fairbanks, Alaska

Provide comprehensive physical therapy services including evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation of care for patients across various age groups. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while ensuring compliance with clinical standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver safe, effective therapy and adjust care based on patient progress
• Set measurable goals and coordinate discharge planning
• Educate patients, families, and care teams on treatment plans and progress
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to support optimal outcomes
• Supervise and delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate
• Participate in departmental operations, quality improvement, and productivity standards

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (APTA or equivalent)
• Current Physical Therapist license (or eligibility) in Alaska
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Strong clinical knowledge, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to use patient care technology and therapy equipment
• Acute care experience preferred (required for certain roles)
