Full-timeDescription$40.00 $45.00 per hour (and based on experience in that range)Full-Time Physical Therapist Hours: 40 hours per weekEasterseals Florida is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our Pediatric Outpatient Therapy Program. This role focuses on evaluating and treating pediatric clients while collaborating with families caregivers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of care.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations for pediatric clientsDocument evaluations progress notes billing and treatment plans using EMR systemsDevelop and implement treatment plans based on evidence-based practicesEstablish and achieve client goals outlined in the Plan of CareManage assigned caseload efficiently and supervise PTA(s)Coordinate care with school staff early intervention programs case managers parents/guardians and clinical directorsProvide client and family educationQualificationsMinimum of a Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate preferred)Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of FloridaMedicaid and National Provider Number preferredPrevious pediatric experience preferredStrong interpersonal oral and written communication skillsProficiency with basic computer applications and EMR systemsFlexibility and commitment to self-developmentIntegrity tact and sound judgmentAbility to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive your personal vehicle as required to drive for program related businessEasterseals Florida has been rated a Great Place to Work (2020 - 2025) by our employees!
