Physical Therapist/Physical Therapy Assistant at Megan Rich Physical & Aquatic Therapy

For over 25 years Megan Rich Physical Therapy has been treating a wide variety of patient populations ranging from sports and dance related injuries to neuromuscular diseases. Thirteen physical therapists with diverse perspectives provide experience in various areas of PT and movement including Pilates, Gyrotonic, Feldenkrais, and dance.
Beyond physical therapy we utilize our movement studio and warm water pool to continue strengthening through Pilates and aquatic exercise classes that are open to current patients, discharged patients, the public, and staff.
Since we are a small locally owned practice we are able to focus on outstanding one-on-one patient care which is only second to making sure every staff member finds complete satisfaction with the work environment. We pride ourselves on being accommodating with scheduling so that therapists can have the time they need to research, grow and explore, spend time with their family, and take time for themselves.
Role Description
This is a full or part-time, on-site role for a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant located in Timonium, MD. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapy interventions to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals. The role also includes educating patients and families on continued care, documenting progress accurately, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in physical therapy techniques, rehabilitation strategies, and exercise therapy
- Proficiency in patient assessment, treatment planning, and progress evaluation
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to educate and interact with patients, families, and team members
- Ability to adhere to ethical standards, maintain patient confidentiality, and provide compassionate care
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant (required) and experience in aquatic therapy (preferred)
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; Master's or Doctorate for Physical Therapists is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Physical ability to support and guide patients safely during therapy sessions
