Continuing education benefits and discounted coursed through Colorado Christian University and Rasmussen University.As a Home Health Physical Therapist, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:Provide home-based physical therapy to pediatric patients who have lost mobility, strength and functionality due to an illness or injuryWork as part of a home health team which may include an RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, OT and SLP, focused on the patient's plan of care and goals Observe movements, conduct assessments, document progress and modify care plan as neededAssist pediatric patient with exercises and hands-on therapy to manage pain and increase mobilityEducate pediatric patients on their plan of care, established goals, exercises and self-careCoach family on the plan of care, therapy goals and safely assisting with exercisesA few must-haves for Home Health Physical Therapists:Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Program and active PT license in Colorado.Minimum of one (1) year of physical therapy experience, ideally in home healthcareNo Covid Vaccination RequiredPass a background check and drug test (we are required to test for THC)Knowledge of state and federal home health regulationsGood clinical judgement, critical thinking skills, strong communicator, empathy and compassionWhy Work for Interim HealthCare?Founded in 1966, Interim HealthCare is the nation's first home care company and a leading employer of Home Health Physical Therapists (PTs).
