If you’re ready to experience the rewards of home health therapy, you are made for this!</p><p><strong>Our Home Health Physical Therapists enjoy some excellent benefits:</strong></p><ul style="list-style-type: none;"><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Competitive, Weekly pay with travel time and mileage reimbursement!</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Holiday and PTO pay for full time employees.</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Supportive, caring management that will have your back!</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Medical for full-time, dental, vision and supplemental benefits available for everyone</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">1:1 patient ratio; where you make a difference in our patients care with flexible assignments to fit your needs!</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Continuing education benefits and discounted courses through Colorado Christian University and Rasmussen University.</li></ul><p><strong>As a Home Health Physical Therapist, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:</strong></p><ul style="list-style-type: none;"><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Provide home-based physical therapy to patients who have lost mobility, strength and functionality due to an illness or injury</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Work as part of the health team which may include RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, OT and SLP, focused on the patient’s plan of care and goals </li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Observe movements, conduct assessments, document progress and modify care plan as needed</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Assist patient with exercises and hands-on therapy to manage pain and increase mobility</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Educate patients on their plan of care, established goals, exercises and self-care</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Coach family on the plan of care, therapy goals and safely assisting with exercises</li></ul><p><strong>A few must-haves for Home Health Physical Therapists:</strong></p><ul style="list-style-type: none;"><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Program and active PT license in Colorado</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience, ideally in home healthcare</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">BLS/CPR certification (demonstration course required)</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, dexterity and compassion</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Pass a background check and drug test (we are required to test for THC)</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">No Covid Vaccination Required</li></ul><p><strong>Why Work for Interim HealthCare?</strong></p><p>Founded in 1966, Interim HealthCare is the nation’s first home care company and a leading employer of Home Health Physical Therapists (PT).
