Position Title: Physical Therapist Location: Montour Falls NY Job Type: Contract Shift: Day Shift Monday Friday 9:00 AM 5:00 PM Duration: 13 weeks Pay Rate: $40 - $45/hour Floating Required: Inpatient Rehab / Acute Bedside (travel required)Job Summary:Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to provide high-quality patient-centered care. The PT will evaluate plan and deliver physical therapy treatments aimed at improving mobility relieving pain and preventing or minimizing physical disabilities. This role works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to restore function promote independence and achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes.Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess strength mobility balance functional limitations and rehabilitation needs.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and patient goals.Provide therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercise functional training manual therapy gait training and modalities as appropriate.Collaborate with physicians nurses occupational therapists speech therapists and case managers to support optimal patient outcomes.Educate patients and families on home exercise programs safety mobility strategies and continued rehabilitation needs.Accurately document evaluations daily notes progress reports and discharge summaries in the EMR.Participate in interdisciplinary meetings case discussions and quality improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with facility policies HIPAA and professional standards of practice.Supervise and direct Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) as needed.Demonstrate clinical competence strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications:Active New York Physical Therapist License (or ability to obtain prior to start).BLS Certification (AHA required).Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in acute care outpatient or inpatient rehab preferred.Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques rehabilitation principles and patient-centered care practices.Proficiency in EMR documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration.Excellent interpersonal organizational and clinical problem-solving skills.For more details contact at or Call / Text at .About Navitas Healthcare LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
