Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Ware | $37–$40 per visit | Flexible Schedule |

**Must have 1 year clinical experience**

USA Today Top Workplaces Winner 2024 & 2025 — still no bribes were involved (unless coffee and snacks are legally considered bribes).

Let’s be real — you didn’t become a PTA to be glued to a clock or buried in paperwork. You’re here to help people move better, feel stronger, and get back to living their lives.

At Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS), we’re clinician-owned, which means the people running things actually understand home care. No micromanaging. No productivity guilt. No “just squeeze in one more visit” energy. Just real support, flexible schedules, and a team that has your back.

We’re growing and hiring a Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant to support patients throughout the Ware residential area of Massachusetts.

Why You’ll Love It Here:

  •  Competitive Per-Visit Pay: $37–$40 — because your skills are worth more than “great job team!” emails.
  •  True Flexibility: Build a schedule that fits your life (not the other way around).
  •  Benefits That Actually Help: Dental and vision — because adulthood is expensive.
  •  Mileage Reimbursement: $0.62/mile — your gas tank thanks you.
  •  Training & Support: Ongoing clinical support and education to keep you confident and growing.

________________________________________

What You’ll Be Doing:

  •  Providing in-home PTA treatments as directed by the supervising PT (no guesswork, no being left alone).
  •  Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care to keep things moving forward.
  •  Educating patients and caregivers on exercises that actually carry over into daily life.
  •  Documenting clearly and efficiently in a user-friendly EMR that won’t steal your evenings.

What Sets VRNS Apart?

You’re not just another visit on a schedule here.

We partner with meaningful programs like the ABI Waiver, which means steady, consistent caseloads — without sacrificing flexibility. You’ll have real clinical leadership, real field support, and a support team that answers the phone like real humans.

Requirements:

What We’re Looking For:

  • Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Massachusetts
  • 1+ year of clinical experience
  •  Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  •  Comfortable working independently, but never unsupported
  •  EMR experience preferred (ours won’t emotionally scar you)
  •  Home health experience is a plus — but not required
