Physical Therapy Tech Adult Therapy PRN at Woman's Hospital

The Physical Therapy Tech assists in the delivery of therapy services under the supervision of a Manager and licensed staff Physical Therapist. This includes assisting with the cleaning and logging of equipment.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.Past experience in clinical setting is preferred.Responsibilities:Assists patients/clients with the prescribed exercise program in an effective manner.Demonstrates competency in the application utilization and monitoring of appropriate modalities under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist or occupational therapist to include but not limited to electrical stimulation ultrasound hot/cold pack application and lymphatic drainage via pump.Cleans equipment and maintains logs (cleaning temperature and refrigerator).Assists with ordering supplies and equipment.Any other duties as assigned by Womans Hospital.Schedule:PRNTuesday and Thursday 12:00 PM - 5:30 PMPay Range:Hourly/Non-Exempt$17.00 $24.00; based on work experienceA Work Experience with PurposeWomans is one of the largest specialty hospitals in the country dedicated to the care of women and infants.Nationally recognizedfor exceptional patient care innovative programs and a supportive work environment we consistently exceed state and national benchmarks for patient satisfactiona reflection of our commitment to those we serve.Were home to Louisianas largest delivery service and perform thousands of procedures annually including over 8500 surgeries and 35000 breast procedures.
