Physicial Therapist at League Education and Treatment Center

Seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy to special needs children ages 2 years, 9 months to 5 years at the Joan Fenichel Therapeutic Nursery and ages 5 - 21 in our school-age program at the League School.

Responsibilities and Duties, included but not limited to:

• Evaluate and provide therapy services to children with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Keep up-to-date records
• Conduct assessments as needed
• Participate in team meetings and parent training
• Administer services as per IEP mandates
• Maintain proper documentation of evaluation, treatment sessions and progress of children
• Screen and evaluate children to determine the need for services & make appropriate recommendations
• Prepares and update IEPs

Principal Qualifications:

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy
• 2- 3 years’ experience with children (pediatrics) with developmental disabilities preferred
• NYS Licensed preferred

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
