Logan Regional Medical Center has immediate needs for a BC/BE Anesthesiologist for coverage the week of Thanksgiving and week of Christmasfor vacation coverage.Location:Logan, WVDuration: vacation coverageBoard Requirement: Board-certified/Board-eligibleSchedule: Dates:Shifts: 7am-5pm, plus beeper call. Call schedule TBD.Procedures:Caseload: General Surgery, Pediatrics, OB, Urology, Vascular, Ortho, Podiatry, GI. No Cardiac, No Neuro. Patients are very sick, so need a skilled and experienced physician.ORs and Case Volume: 4 OR's, 1 Cysto Room, runs about 10-15 cases per day including C-sections. Hospital does about 15 epidurals per month, these are placed by the CRNA's Cases start at 7:30 AM.Hospital has Endo suite with 2 rooms:1 Bronch room and 1 ERCP Room. Cases start between 8-9 AM depending on the surgeon. About 20 cases per day.Backup: Currently 2 physicians on staff with 7 CRNA's who function very independently. CRNA's also take beeper call from home.License Requirement: Active WV license and DEA.
