Provide healthcare services to patients in both the clinic and surgery under direction and responsibility of physician(s).This is a casual position looking for someone with flexibility M-F to assist with surgery at Maple Grove Hospital OGI - Maple Grove and Edina Clinics Fairview Southdale Hospital and the Edina Specialty Surgery Center.ogi Obstetrics Gynecology & Infertility is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health) a group of local medical practices owned and led by its physicians on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.Essential functions:Assist physician in the clinic (e.g. room and prep patients; order x-rays; compile patient medical data including health history and results of physical examination)Assist surgeon in operating room (e.g. pre-surgery planning position patient in O.R. check for proper instruments assist in surgical procedure close wound remove patient)Perform therapeutic procedures such as splinting casting suturing and wound careApply remove modify and adjust casts and soft goods; change dressings; remove suturesImplement patient management plans record progress and assist in provision of careConsultations with (phone or in-person) patients for cast application/adjustment dressing changes or brace application; etc.Rounding and call as required by supervising PhysicianPrescribe medicationsAny and all other duties as assignedEducation experience & other requirements:NCCPA certificationMinnesota Board of Medical Practice registration/licenseDEA registrationExperience working in OR GYN Robotic experience and certification required.Setting: Clinic / ORBenefits & Compensation:Actual starting pay will vary based on education skills and experience.We offer a comprehensive benefits package - to learn more clickhere.Employees working 30 hours per week (60 hours per pay period) are eligible for our Medical (w/Maternity Bundle) Dental & Vision plans as well as Tuition Reimbursement.All employees regardless of hours are eligible for 401(k) Profit Sharing Employee Assistance Program Lifetime Fitness Subsidy Car Rental discounts Home Auto & Pet insurance savings programs & more.Working Conditions: Frequentlylift up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.Requires the ability to stand walk bend and move continuously throughout the shift.Must be able to frequently perform physical activities such as pushing pulling and reaching.Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g. computer phone printer).Essential Requirements:Ability to:Comply with company policies procedures practices and business ethics guidelines.Comply with all applicable laws and regulations (e.g. HIPAA Stark OSHA employment laws etc.)Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance.Work at an efficient and productive pace handle interruptions appropriately and meet workload effectively.Communicate respectfully and professionally in face-to-face phone and email interactions.
