Position Highlights Role: Emergency Medicine PhysicianCertification Requirements: Board-certified/board-eligible (BC/BE) via ABEM or AOBEM; ABPS EM candidates welcomeDuration: Initial 3-month assignment with potential for extensionStart Date: June 1, 2024Shifts: 24-hour physician coverage, with shift changes at 7 AM and 7 PM Facility Features Newly opened (March 2023) freestanding emergency departmentApproximately 23 patient visits per day, with an anticipated annual volume of 8,500 visits10,000 square-foot facility with advanced amenities, including:Fully equipped trauma bayState-of-the-art imaging (CT, ultrasound, and radiology)11 private treatment roomsSeparate adult and pediatric waiting areasAmbulance bay for efficient EMS access Seamless Patient Care Patients requiring inpatient admission will be transferred to a nearby hospital campus with excellent care handoffs to intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists.
