A well-established Long Term Care and Assisted Living group wants to add a Family Medicine physician to its private practice in Wilmington, North Carolina. The group includes two internal medicine physicians and ten advanced practitioners. The physician will see patients in a clinic, long-term care, or assisted living setting. About the opportunity A base salaryand a potential partnership track are offered after the second year ( the group will have flexibility with salary depending upon the level of experience ). A strong benefits package includes health, dental, vision, professional liability insurance, 401k, and paid time off, including CME. The practice offers continuity of care for patients in the office, hospital, nursing home, hospice, and home health setting. Advanced practice providers are taking the first call. Providers average 20 patients daily, essentially seeing ages 40 and above but trending towards a geriatric population.
