Locum Tenens Opportunity: Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Near Glidden, WI We are seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine physician with a specialization in Hematology and Oncology for a locum tenens position near Glidden, WI. This role involves both outpatient and inpatient care and offers an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team in a dynamic practice setting. The position is available starting ASAP and will continue on an ongoing basis. Position Overview: Specialty: Internal Medicine - Hematology and OncologyType: Locum TenensStart Date: ASAPEnd Date: OngoingCoverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus CallPractice Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient Key Responsibilities: Clinical Hours:Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.Weekend call is required one weekend per month, primarily for phone consultations from Friday night through Monday morning. Additional weekday and weekend call is covered by another group.Patient Load:Approximately 15 to 20 patients per shift.The role involves both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities.Qualifications:Board certification in Hematology and Oncology is required.Fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology is preferred.An active Wisconsin (WI) medical license is needed.Certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and BLS are required; ABLS and PALS are not.EMR System:The facility uses Cerner for electronic medical records.Additional Details:Bone marrow biopsies are optional.The practice is equipped with Intellidose TxM for medication management.Temporary privileges are available with an estimated credentialing timeframe of 60 days if the credentialing file is clean.Compensation and Benefits:Competitive pay with options for housing and travel arrangements if needed.Reimbursement for licensing costs is not provided.This locum tenens opportunity is perfect for a skilled Hematologist/Oncologist looking for a stable, long-term placement with a supportive team.
