 In affiliation with the University of Arizona, Banner-University Medical Center in Phoenix is seeking a Hospice & Palliative Medicine Physician to join our growing team. This is a well-established program with mentoring and development resources to support newer graduates as well as the opportunity to shape the future of the program for those with more experience. The selected candidate will receive a faculty appointment consistent with their credentials and will have opportunity to grow Hospice & Palliative Care within the community and teach students, residents, and fellows from the University of Arizona. Position Highlights:Inpatient Only - Consult ServiceM-F - Flexible Schedule w/ Opportunity for 8 or 10 hour shifts; Weekend call on rotation by phone only2 Fellows help to support the program per yearDeliver excellent patient-centered hospice and palliative care within the clinical setting, demonstrating sound knowledge of medical specialty.Exercise didactic and clinical teaching for care staff, residents, fellows, and medical studentsResearch Involvement that contributes to the cure or management of diseases while advancing designated educational programsActive participation in systemwide Palliative Care, Geriatrics, and Integrative Medicine Clinical Consensus Groups Minimum Requirements:American Board of Internal Medicine certified/eligibleFellowship-trained in Hospice and Palliative MedicineNew grads and experienced providers encouraged to apply Location: Banner University Medical Center- Phoenix Campus | Hospice and Palliative Care, 1111 E McDowell Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85006 Banner Benefits:You take care of others.
