A not-for-profit, acute-care community hospital in south central Connecticut has an opening for a Nocturnist. It is licensed for about 297 beds and has earned many accolades, including its sixth consecutive Magnet designation for nursing excellence from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. It has also been recognized by Healthgrades with awards like America?s 100 Best Hospitals and Joint Replacement Excellence. About the Opportunity: 12 shifts per month. 36 hours weekly Shift times are 4 pm-4 am and 7 pm-7 am Admit in collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers, consult with specialists, respond to RRTs and codes, and cross-cover patients on some nights Perform pre-operative assessments and co-manage surgical patients EPIC EMR Closed ICU No procedures High base salary along with a signing bonus Community/Location: A charming mid-sized city of just under 50,000 people, located on the Connecticut River in the center of the state, it sits roughly between Hartford and New Haven.
