Job Description: Assignment: July 2024 - Ongoing 4 patients/shift 6 bed department Inpatient only. Scheduled coverage of the patients with call coverage as well. Hospital only (no outpatient) Level 3 Trauma Center Physician Must be BC Licensed in MD or IMLC Required Certification: ATLS, BLS, PALS Average call volume per 24-hours - Phone Consults: 3 - Patients Seen: 5 - Admissions: 1 Hospital covers the cost of travel, lodging and malpractice insurance In-house credentialing to assist throughout the entire process In-house travel coordinator to make all travel arrangements for assignments Prompt payment after time sheet is processedPreferred Procedures (Not required) Ventilation Management (Pediatric) Acute Chronic Intubation (ETT/NT) Pediatrics Central line Arterial lines UVC UAC Paracentesis Thoracentesis Needle pneumothorax Decompression X-ray interpretation EKG interpretation PA Catheter Exchange transfusion Suturing minor lacerations Circumcision (type) Swallow studied
